What’s the difference between you and say, Osteopaths and Physiotherapists?

Like all health professionals from all disciplines, the difference always comes down to the “Intent of their Activity” and the “Philosophical Position” behind that Intent.

I can’t speak for ‘All Others’ but generally the Intent of Physical Therapy is to decrease inflammation with ice/cold and increase blood flow with heat, exercise, massage etc. Osteopathy historically was involved with the desire to increase lymph and blood flow. Chiropractic however, is only concerned with the function of the nervous system.

However the true difference lies in the educational requirements of the above professions. A Chiropractors training is closely aligned with that of a Medical Practitioner excluding the obvious differences of Pharmacology/Minor surgery etc. See the link associated with Question 5.
